I’m the Other Guy
This is not the website for Russell Baker, the eminent former New York Times columnist. Rather, it’s the internet home of Russ Baker, award-winning investigative journalist and author of Family of Secrets.
If there’s still any confusion — or even if there isn’t — please read Russ Baker’s 2002 Times op-ed “I’m the Other Guy.” That should clear it up.

You will be vindicated. Old man Bush was in it up to his beady lil eyeballs, and I’m amazed you’ve been published. I’ll do whatever I can to support your work because I have been telling people for over 20 – 25 years that Old Man Bush had to be involved.
The Kennedy assassination was the beginning of the end of America. Your book is important, and there’s still time to try that bastard as there’s no statute of limitations on murder.
After Bush, the State of Texas should be indicted for dropping the ball on what was actually a simple murder, which was a crime that should have been investigated and tried in Texas. (Still should be).

Hi Russ,
I am reading your book at the moment, and am absolutely fascinated.
Unrelated to that someone came up with this tonight and I wonder if you have heard this, or is it just hearsay:
“Sarah, if the American people had ever known the truth about what we Bushes have done to this nation, we would be chased down in the streets and lynched.” George Bush Senior speaking in an interview with Sarah McClendon in December 1992.
Really would like to know if there is any truth in that, meaning: did he really say this?
Thanks

I saw you On Emily Rooney’s show last night. I just ordered the book. I had to order the book because I am now reading Kevin Phillips book “American Dynasty, Aristocracy, Fortune, and the Politics of Deceit in the House of Bush” about the Bush family. What do you think of Phillips book?

Hi Russ, I’ve listened to many of your interviews on radio, including Red Ice Creations, Guns and Butter, and Boiling Frogs. I have your book and I think it is great. Do you ever wonder, though, if the Bushes are like the character of Chauncey Gardener in Being There, and they’re really just Chance the Gardener? In other words, just some upper class twits that we place more importance on than is their due? Just a weird thought. Thanks for your wonderful work.

Pretty soon the other guy will be saying he’s the other guy.
Keep up the good work Russ.

I must say the “I’ve always wanted to meet you”, in the article, was very endearing.
Thanks again, Russ.
